3. Join or Create a League

   You can join public leagues, create a private league to compete with friends, or do both!

Budget Management

You’ll have a budget of €100 million to build your team. Each player has a value based on their real-world performance and popularity.

Team Structure

Your team must include:

• 2 Goalkeepers
• 5 Defenders
• 5 Midfielders
• 3 Forwards

Roster Restrictions

You can have a maximum of 3 players from the same real-world team to ensure diversity in your squad.

Selecting Your Starting XI

From your squad of 15 players, select 11 to start each gameweek. Choose a formation that includes:

• 1 Goalkeeper
• 3-5 Defenders
• 2-5 Midfielders
• 1-3 Forwards

Appointing a Captain

Select one player as your captain who will earn double points. Choose a vice-captain as backup in case your captain doesn’t play.

Making Transfers

Each week, you’ll receive 1 free transfer. Unused transfers roll over to the next gameweek (maximum of 2). Additional transfers cost 4 points each.

Using Chips

Special one-time-use chips can boost your team’s performance:

• Bench Boost: Points earned by bench players are added to your total.
• Triple Captain: Your captain scores triple points instead of double.
• Free Hit: Make unlimited transfers for one gameweek only.
• Wildcard: Reset your entire team without point penalties (twice per season).

Gameweeks

A gameweek typically spans from Friday to Thursday. All transfers and team changes must be made before the first match of the gameweek begins.

Live Updates

Watch your points accumulate in real-time as matches are played. Player statistics, bonus points, and rankings are updated continuously.

League Competitions

Compete in different types of leagues:

• Classic Leagues: Total points over the season determine your rank.
• Head-to-Head Leagues: Face a different opponent each gameweek.
• Global Ranking: Compete against all GoldFantasySport players worldwide.
